Oscar Pajares’ Bio : Chef de Cuisine
Born and raised in Lima, Peru. He moved to the United States in 1993 and started his culinary career in Atlanta, Georgia. He started as prep cook and worked his way up to line cook. He worked at Baci Italian restaurant and McKendrick’s Steak House (one of the top steak houses in America). After a few years, in 1997, he moved to Miami where he worked the Coral Gables area (Claudius Restaurant) while attending Johnson & Wales University. Oscar started at Two Chefs Restaurant in 1998 working next to Chef Jan Jorgensen. Now Oscar Pajares –a familiar face to many of the restaurant’s regular clientele- is the Chef de Cuisine at the South Miami landmark restaurant.
